August 2010 Edition
Specific names mentioned: Jenica, Matthias, Possible Pack Leader
General people suggested: The Elders, Pack Members, Ignus Council (Ad Vitam Especially For Affairs)
There is nothing that the Ignus want more than to finally crush the Viri and destroy their corrupt operations. They feel they are the ultimate enemies of their own race, vindictive, manipulative, and outdated monsters. They represent everything that is evil in this world. They must be stopped, but the one small coven cannot take them down. The Ignus are outnumbered and unfairly matched in skill and age. They have no choice but to ask for help.
Homo adolphus, though new, are tired of sharing their territories with vampires, but they are not strong enough or resourceful enough to drive them out. They have been deeply seeded in this hemisphere for centuries. Werewolves cannot scare away an entire coven of these predators. They would get picked off one by one for their insolence. The only reason the Viri don't take them all as slaves is that they don't want to cause a disturbance. The weres cannot fend for themselves in a battle where they are fighting a race much elder than they.
Jenica, a very old, and very clever vampire has only one solution to the Ignus's problem. She had never thought of weres as competition or less than her. In fact, she has been indifferent to them since the birth of their race. She doesn't allow any of her coven to kill them unless there is no other choice and has never owned one as a slave. But now, she finds them very useful.
Combining the primitive nature of the werewolves with the divine skills of the vampires could be the only solution either race has to take down an age old dynasty. Jenica has convinced her council to form relations with the weres in order to ally with them over this issue. However, neither have the same agenda. The Ignus have no intention of befriending the weres. They only want to use them for a common purpose between both groups. They are playing the devil's advocate with their natural enemy. The weres have no intention of staying loyal to the Ignus. They may even plan to kill them off as well after they are finished with the Viri.
Keep in mind, "The Ignus may appear less threatening than the Viri, but never have the delusion that they are not as, if not more, dangerous. With passion comes strength, and strength from passion comes wrath. The Viri posses an ancient evil that has withered away with time. The Ignus are becoming what they most fear, taking on the very sin they wish to destroy. Be prepared to face them when the others have fallen. It is an inevitable battle I will not lose."
Whether anyone in the council likes it or not, the Ignus are mobilizing. The weres are following. The Viri will not be prepared when the time comes, but will that matter?
The Viri have their own issues inside of their coven. Matthias seems to be breaking from the elder panel and taking matters into his own hands. He knows well that the Ignus will do something irrational in time, and will not let his brothers continue marching into oblivion. He is preparing his children to leave behind their legacy, for he knows he will lose many in the war coming. And he has his own secrets to hide, even from those he trusts. His division is doubting him and with the tensions in the complex, no one is sure who is on what side. If they can't fix themselves, they will be an easy target.
